No, the 1-hour $50 strategy session is not required. However, if you don't have a starting point or a clear idea of your future direction, then the strategy session is critical. This service is intended to help you gain clarity of your aspirations with a thought partner that has years of experience listening to people's ideas and putting them together. Most people agree that's exactly what they needed. Clients have even said that I took the thoughts roaming in their brain and organized it neatly on paper. The underrepresented minority clients I work with have also said that I have the ability to take their ideas and articulate it clearly, removing barriers non-native English speakers normally struggle with.

All writing services include 2 rounds of edits for you to review, change, or redirect me where needed. I submit my work via Microsoft Word Document which has a feature to track changes and an option to include comments. This is how we will communicate edits. Yet, the best scenario for both clients and me is to nail it on the first try or close to it. This speeds up the process so you can have your writing sooner. To achieve this, I need as much context as possible on the brief I provide you and crystal clear direction on the ultimate goal.

Yes, I can bypass original writing and focus on revising, editing, or proofreading existing work. All you need to do is supply me the writing and direct me on what it is you need. For example, if you have a cover letter and you need support reworking the writing to make it more compelling or you have a proposal ready but just need one last set of eyes to check for grammatical errors. 

I can still help! There are so many variations of writing needed these days that I can't capture it all on my listings but just know I can still write it for you. Send me an email with a brief description of what you need and I'll respond back with a game plan and a quote.

You do! After we have completed the process, all written work belongs to you as you would have bought that work. After purchase, I will no longer claim it as mine nor use those ideas for other clients. If I have your permission to showcase in my portfolio, that's great. If you prefer not to, that's fine too. I'll just be a ghostwriter.

To abide by ethical standards, I cannot write any academic work for clients. That includes essays, academic projects, midterms, homework, etcetera. I can, however, assist with helping higher education clients identify value propositions, streamline ideas, structure a writing plan, and proofread for grammatical errors. Yet, I cannot do the writing when it comes to academic work. For support in these areas, please reach out for a quote.
